Robert Mead, the PIMCO boss, is moving from McMahons Point to Mosman.

He’s the $12 million buyer of the Mosman home of Michael Gu, founder of the ­collapsed property group ­iProsperity.

Gu, who paid $10 million in 2017, quit Sydney for Los Angeles after gaining a travel exemption during the pandemic, despite allegedly owing investors $350 million.

The creditors have been arguing over the house proceeds before NSW Supreme Court Justice Richard Button.

Gu paid $10m in 2017.

It was sold by Credit Suisse, but the dispute among 10 lenders as to priority, will see Button work out “how the pie is divided and what order”.

Gu’s Rolls Royce Wraith has been sold for $502,000 with just 1039km on the clock.

Mead recently sold in McMahons Point through agent Richard Simeon, with the price undisclosed.
